20180403 Praying for tomorrow's opportunity

Praise God for giving Ada this opportunity, I really hope Ada will do well tomorrow. Although there are a lot of uncertainties and we don't really know how to prepare for it,  I am sure God will lead her. May I ask God to please grant her wisdom and intelligence during the interview? Please have the Holy Spirit be with her the whole time so that Ada will be able to experience You working with her side by side. May You please speak for her during the interview so that she can have a smooth tongue and a logical/clear mindset to answer any questions. Please allow her to remember all that she had prepared and allow her to have a calm heart during the interview. May all that she does tomorrow will glorify Your Name.

Please humble us and let us be obedient according to Your plan!

As my church life continues to go on,  I got to build up a lot of relationships with others through out the years. I know a lot of peers,  and at the same time,  i also know a lot of elders. Although we are couple generations apart, they were the strong mature adults that had watched me grow up back in the days. They were the role models that I respected and learned a lot from. Today, i have grown to be an early strong adult but they are all elders... watching them passing one by one is difficult as i still remember their voices and the way they talked..

John P Lee had just passed away about an hour ago... may the Lord comforts and strengthen John's family.... i know John had fought the battle and kept his faith til the end,  John is now invthe warm arms of our Lord Jesus Christ

Very grateful for today's performance review! I am thankful that I can once again become "significantly exceeded". It was a lot of Strength and Wisdom provided by God so that I could push thru all the long hours and hard work.  Thank You Lord Jesus!

On the separate note:
Struggle is real.. def don't want to sin against God.... May the Lord protect me!

Anxiety (cont.)

Have you ever been too stressful at work that sometimes it freaks you out just thinking about it?

This is the 2nd time that I have ever felt so anxious about work, I couldn't sleep well in the weekend because of it, I couldn't stop thinking about it on Friday night, I constantly feel the presence of an unknown worry inside me, and I do not want to go to work tomorrow.

Is this called Anxiety?

Best Friends..

A Chinese phrase says it best:  "Its difficult to find even 1 best friend in all our lives"

I agree with this phrase a lot since, as human, living in isolation is really not part of our normal characteristics. Majority of us need to be encouraged, be supported, be needed, and be heard in order to feel the need of existence. 

Similar to Tom Hank's movie, "Cast Away", where he was going insane on an isolated island until the day he met Wilson(a Volleyball):

From then on, Wilson had became his best friend for many years where he would do everything with, argue on things, and share with him on absolutely everything.

Why this topic hits me was due to someone being close to me feeling that they have absolutely noone that they can rely on or trust other than their spouse in this "foreign" country. I am unsure how i can help them or change their mindset but i can only pray for them. Hoping that God will be able to comfort them and slowly change that mindset, and if God allows, please also grant them a true trustworthy best friend so they can walk together.

As for me, I guess i am already used to being alone due to the nature of my career. I am satisfied with just having good friends instead of "best" friends.
